If you look at this guy’s Instagram account, he looks like the nicest guy in the world. Jason Fram @jasonfram 

1. Jason’s great grandparents were from mainland China; his mother is Singaporean and immigrated to Canada for university. Jason was born in Vancouver. 

2. He played 5 years in the @westernhockeyleague for the @spokanechiefs, and he led the WHL in points by a defenseman in 2014-2015. 

3. After juniors, Jason was signed to an @theahl contract by the @sjbarracuda but was unfortunately released after 2 games. 

4. He went on to star for the @universityofalberta for 3 seasons, where he received back-to-back USports Defenseman of the Year honors in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. 

5. Jason continued his pro career by signing with the @krschina, where he has played the last two seasons and will hopefully get a spot on the 2022 Olympic team. If you watch this guy’s highlights, you wonder how could he be overlooked for pro contracts in North America. I hope to see him at his best on the Olympic stage next year.
