This beauty of a chunk/patch card is one of my favs, especially because the featured player was drafted by my @lakings. Jordan Spence @jordanjs224 

1. Jordan is an offensively gifted Japanese Australian/Canadian puck moving defenseman from Sydney, Australia. He holds dual citizenship with Canada and Japan, the two countries he grew up in. He looked up to Kings’ defenseman Drew Doughty and even named his family dog “Doughty.” 

2. In 2015-2016, as a Bantam, he tore up the PEIBAAA, leading his team, the @midisle.matrix, in scoring with 44 points in 30 games, being named the league’s top defenseman, and finishing 3rd in league scoring. 

3. In 2017-18, he moved onto the MJAHL to play for the @ssidecapitals. He was a scoring whiz again leading the league in assists by a defenseman (39) and recording 52 points in 50 games. He was also named the league’s Rookie of the Year. 

4. Jordan then suited up for the @monctonwildcats of the @lhjmq_qmjhl_ for 3 seasons, tallying 141 points in 160 games. He was the league’s Rookie of the Year in 2018-2019 and Top Defenseman in 2019-20. His junior success led to the Kings drafting him 95th overall in the 2019 @nhl Entry Draft. 

5. Jordan played for @hockeycanada in the 2021 @iihfhockey World Junior Championships, where he took home a Silver medal; he is now suiting up in the @theahl for the @ontarioreignhockey, where he is continuing to put up numbers with 15 points in 24 games.
