1. Aito is an 18-year old Japanese offensive stickhandling whiz from Saitama, Japan. He fell in love with hockey at the age of 4 watching his dad, a civil engineer, playing roller and ice hockey in Japan. 

2. Aito began playing organized hockey at 5 and was dominating the minors. 

3. In 2013, his father contacted the famous skills wizard @heybarber to mentor young Aito, and in 2016 @pavelbarbertraining and Aito released a @youtube highlight compilation that went viral. 

4. In 2019, Aito was selected 104th overall in the @ushl draft by the @waterlooblackhawks, a team that has rostered other Japanese players, such as @teraoyuuri and @yukimiura36. He has not played with the team yet. 

5. He last played for @saitamasakae_junior_prac in 2019-20 and competed in the @iihfhockey World Junior Championships U-20s for Japan, amassing 2 goals and 3 assists in 5 games.

I’ve been following this kid for years, and I’m truly hopeful that he achieves greatness! At the very least, his highlight clips will live on the Internet forever and continue to inspire young hockey players from all over the world.
