Here’s yet another Oakville product and @princeton alum. I’ve been waiting for this guy’s card for awhile and am glad @serealcards issued one. Alex Riche aka “Shen Jialei” @alex_riche_ - 

1. Alex is a skilled, playmaking Chinese Canadian center from Oakville, Ontario. Growing up, he was also an accomplished baseball player who played on his high school varsity team. For hockey, he idolized the legendary Steve Yzerman. 

2. In his Bantam and Midget years, he competed in the @gthlhockey, with his top season suiting up for the @torontoredwingsgthl U-16 AAA and notching 30 points in 33 games in 2011-12. 

3. After torching the SCTA U-18 for the @oakvillerangershockeyclub AAA (90 points in 69 games) in 2012-13, he spent 2 seasons in the @ojhlofficial with the Milton Icehawks and Coburg Cougars, accumulating 110 points over 105 games. 

4. Alex then went to play 4 years at @princetonhockey, where he tallied 75 points in 122 games while winning an @ecachockey championship in 2017-18. As a junior, he spent a summer running a hockey camp for kids in Shenzhen, China, to help grow the game in anticipation of the Beijing @olympics. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and was twice recognized on the ECAC All-Academic team. 

5. After college, Alex played 3 seasons in the @khl as a heritage player for @krschina, scoring 8 points in 49 games.
