1. Ali is a strong power forward from Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan. 

2. He has medaled on numerous occasions for his home country in both the @iihf World Junior Championships (2 Golds and 2 Bronzes) and the World Championships (Gold and Bronze). 

3. In 2016-2017, he won the Kazakhstan championship with Nomad Astana. 

4. In the 2016 World Junior Championships (Div. 1A), Ali took Team Kazakhstan to a Bronze medal scoring a team-leading 6 goals in 5 games. 

5. He has played 4 seasons in the @khl with @barys_official and @barys_official, scoring 29 points. He is one of the most popular players in Kazakhstan, as he has quite a few fan pages devoted to him, such as @asetov_fans96. Ali resides in his home country with his young family.
