Andreas Martinsen @andreas.martinsen - 

1. Andreas is a tough, Indo Norwegian power forward with a nose for the net. He was the 4th player of Indian descent to play in the @nhl. 

2. He spent his junior career in Norway. Andreas collected 3 D1 Bronze and 2 Gold World Junior Championship medals for Norway. 

3. When he was @chlhockey eligible, he took advice from his agent in expressing an interest for a certain team, and inaccurate rumors began to swirl that he wouldn’t play in North America unless he was drafted by that team. As a result, he was passed over in the CHL draft despite putting up respectable numbers in Norway, Germany, and Sweden. 

4. In 2015, he signed his first North American pro contract with the @coloradoavalanche, and he scored 11 points in his 55-game rookie season (while also compiling 47 PIMs). He played another season with the Avs before being traded to the @canadiensmtl on March 1, 2017. The following season, he signed with the @nhlblackhawks. Over his 4-year NHL career, he has scored 23 points and notched 110 PIMs. He also played 137 @theahl games (mostly with the @rockfordicehogs, where he served as an assistant captain), before returning to Europe. 

5. He is currently signed with @lillehammerik of the Norwegian professional league. In the 2020-21, he scored 22 points in 24 games while accumulating 98 PIMs.
