Asian Hockey Card Collection

Here’s an upgrade for minor league legend, Colin Chin  -

1. Colin was a hard working, courageous Chinese American forward from Fort Wayne, Indiana, who was highly acclaimed for his leadership. His father was from Jamaica.

2. After graduating from the @uchicago (where he played @ncaaicehockey) and spending a year in the @theahl (suiting up for the Baltimore Skipjacks to score 45 points in 78 games in 1985-86), he grew tired of sports politics and temporarily hung up his skates. However, he was convinced to play in his hometown for the IHL @fwkomets, where he played for 10 seasons. Over 660 games, he notched 636 points.

3. Colin served as the team captain from 1989-1996, the longest in team history.

4. In the 1994-1995 season, he served as a player/coach of the team.

5. Colin was known as the hardest worker and a consummate team leader; as such, his number 26 was retired by the Komets in 2007.
