1. Daniel is a playmaking right winger of Vietnamese descent from Bad Friedrichshall, Germany. He has an older brother, Dennis, who also plays pro hockey in Germany.
2. Daniel played his minor hockey in his home country. He enjoyed his highest offensive output in 2007-08 when he scored 104 points in 36 games for the @mannheimer_erc U16 team.
3. The following season, he won a league championship with the @jungadlermannheim_official U18, and in 2010-11, he led the league in goals with 29.
4. After junior hockey, Daniel turned pro, where he played in both Division 3 and the @penny.del, as well as represented Germany in international tournaments. In 2019-20, Daniel achieved a career high in points in the DEL when he notched 48 points in 52 games for the @nuernberg_ice_tigers.
5. Since 2020, Daniel has been a valuable offensive contributor for @duesseldorfereg_official, where he is signed for next season.
