Ethan Wolthers @ethan_wolthers -
1. Ethan is a speedy, intelligent Chinese/Japanese American forward from Valencia, California (finally found another ๐จ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ต mix besides myself!). At the age of 9, he was already a star athlete in BMX bike racing, capturing 6 world and 3 national championships. After winning it all in that sport, he transitioned to football until the age of 12, when he discovered hockey and made a Junior Kings Pee Wee AA team after only 6 months on the ice.
2. After playing AAA hockey for the Junior Ducks under @alexmkim79 and being teammates with @josh_groll (who were both previously featured), he went to the @ushl to play for the @ridertown_usa in 2018-19, where he scored 14 points in 56 games.
3. Ethan moved North to the @bchockeyleague in 2019-20 and he suited up for the @wenatchee_wild, recording 15 points in 47 games.
4. Ethan returned to the States to play in the @nahlhockey for the @mnwilderness. In his rookie season last year, he scored 18 points in 43 games. This season, he has clearly found his comfort level, having notched 23 points in only 20 games.
5. Ethan has committed to @wmu_hockey, where he will soon play hockey and further his education.
