Asian Hockey Card Collection

Han Sung Kim -

1. Han Sung Kim was a Korean sniper from Seoul. He is a cousin of Min Ho Cho, who was previously featured.

2. While attending Korea University, he starred for his home country in the D2 World Championships, twice winning Gold medals in 2001 and 2003.

3. His international tournament success led to a North American contract with the @echlhockey Greenville Grrrowl. He notched 16 points in 32 games.

4. After his North American stint, Han Sung returned to his home country, where he continued his tournament success winning a D2 World Championship Bronze medal in 2005 and a Gold medal in 2007 (where he was also named Best Forward after scoring 4 goals in 4 games). He also played 8 seasons in the Asia League with @anyanghalla and won 2 championships.

5. He retired in 2013 and coached several years of high school hockey in Korea.

PS - This is the 2nd Grrrowl card I’ve featured and still can’t get over how ugly the design is! Am I wrong???
