1. Jag was a fast, physical, gritty Indo Canadian forward born in Sudbury but who grew up playing minor hockey in Richmond, BC. He fell in love with hockey after borrowing a neighbor’s ice skates.
2. Jag was a prolific scorer in Richmond, and he transformed his game to a physical one to withstand racism he faced on the ice.
3. In 1990-91, he played for the @richmondsockeyes of the WCJHL. That season, he scored 50 points and accumulated 287 PIMs.
4. Thereafter, Jag played two seasons with the @chwkchiefs of the @bchockeyleague, where he scored 51 points and racked up 279 PIMs in 108 games.
5. After junior hockey, Jag was the first on ice official of South Asian descent in the WHL, as well as the league’s first South Asian scout when he joined the @everett_silvertips. He is currently employed as a senior scout for the @seattlethunderbirds.
