Yi-Ming “Jonathan” Liau @yiming18 - 

1. Jonathan was a Chinese American forward from La Canada Flintridge, California. As a youth, he was also an accomplished lacrosse player. 

2. Jon grew up playing in the @californiawavehockeyclub organization, like several other prominent API players from So Cal, including @lettsryanvii and @cali_sharp11. 

3. After attending St. Paul’s Prep School in New Hampshire, Jon went on to play in the @ushl for two years, splitting time between the @omahalancers and @youngstownphantoms. He tallied 37 points over two seasons. 

4. Jon continued his playing career at @princeton. He was recognized on the @ecachockey All-Academic Team for 3 consecutive years (from 2012-2015). 

5. After playing 3 seasons with the Tigers (scoring 32 points in 73 games), he played an additional 8 games in the 2015-2016 season before stepping away from the team to focus on his academic studies. He is now in his third year of medical school and hopes to return to Southern California to provide medical care to underserved communities. Jon evidently has a great heart and a bright future post-hockey.
