Here’s another talented So Cal native, Keely Moy @kmoy98 -
1. Keely is a well-rounded offensive, Chinese American sniper from San Diego, California. Her father, Randy, was a @wmu_hockey alum and beloved minor coach that is credited for being a big part in growing the sport in San Diego. Her brother, @tymoy2, was previously featured and is playing pro in Switzerland.
2. Keely was a standout girls hockey player in AAA; she went to play at the prestigious @kentschool_ct, where she won two championships in 2015 and 2016, was named the team MVP for two years, and captained the team in 2016-2017.
3. An outstanding academic, Keely was recruited by @harvardwomenshockey, where she has played since 2017. Over 90 games, she has accumulated 44 points.
4. When the pandemic forced the @ncaaicehockey to pause, Keely followed her brother’s path and played professional hockey in Switzerland for the @hcladies_lugano. Over 11 games, she scored 11 points and won a Swiss League championship.
5. Keely is returning to the Crimson for her senior year, but there is also the possibility that she will play a few more games in Switzerland to be eligible to play on the Swiss women’s ice hockey team in the 2022 Olympics. I wish Keely the best in finishing her college career and hopefully getting the opportunity to play on the world stage in Beijing!
