Kengo Ito @ken___3 - 

1. Kengo was a Japanese defenseman from Kushiro. 

2. At the age of 19, he began playing professional hockey with the Nippon Paper Cranes of the Japan Ice Hockey League. 

3. His success in Asia and the international stage (4 World Championships Gold medals) prompted the @echlhockey @checkershockey to sign Kengo in 2003. He played 63 games for the Checkers, scoring 20 points. 

4. He returned to Japan thereafter and played 16 straight seasons with the @easthokkaido.cpa, winning 3 championships. 

5. Kengo retired in 2020 after 23 years of professional hockey.
