This is another upgrade of a beautiful patch/chunk that brings out the patriot in me. It showcases Kole Sherwood @kolesherwood - 

1. Kole is a Japanese American winger from New Albany, Ohio, who grew up playing in the @bluejacketsnhl minor hockey system. 

2. He is the younger brother of Kiefer (@sherwood44); when they were kids, one of their trainers nicknamed Kiefer “Kariya Sr.” and Kole “Kariya Jr.” 

3. He played three seasons in the @ohlofficial with the @londonknights, @flintfirebirds, and @ohlrangers and averaged nearly a point a game with 179 points in 180 games; he also won a championship with the Knights. 

4. He went undrafted but was signed by the Blue Jackets. When he made his @nhl debut on February 16, 2019, he became the first homegrown product to play for the team. 

5. Kole has played a handful of NHL games thus far in his career. During the off-season, he was signed by the @senators and played 13 games with the @bellevillesens. He was subsequently waived but scooped up by the @predsnhl. Kole is currently suiting up for the @mkeadmirals.
