Here’s another revision for a trailblazer that is rarely discussed, Kyuin Shim - 

1. Kyuin was a skilled Korean winger from Masan, South Korea. 

2. After lighting up the @officialajhl with the @spcrusaders (scoring 76 points in 55 games), Kyuin became the first Korean born player to play Division 1 @ncaaicehockey when he suited up for @nmu_hockey for 20 games in 1992-93 (scoring 6 points). He also played in the @westernhockeyleague for the @tcamericans and @medhattigers. He finished his junior career with 33 points in 58 WHL games. 

3. Kyuin’s offensive prowess prompted the @edmontonoilers to select him 181st overall in the 1992 @nhl Entry Draft. 

4. Kyuin never made it to the Show, but he played 41 games for the @tulsaoilershockey in the 95-96 season, notching 24 points. 

5. Kyuin retired from hockey in 1998 after playing three seasons for @cuedmonton.
