Today’s feature is another upgraded card of follower Liam Ross (@liamross63 🇨🇳🇨🇦), a Chinese Canadian defenseman who hails from Markham, Ontario. Be sure to read my prior post about Liam’s outstanding showing at the @ohl_hockey Combine, his participation in the @penguins Prospects Camp, and his impressive scholastic achievements. Also, learn some trivia on why he wears #63! Liam continues to play for the @sudburywolvesohl, where he is serving as an assistant captain with 9 points in 22 games. I wish Liam the best in finishing this season and beyond, as he is certainly destined for great things!

Prior bio: Liam Ross @liamross63 - 

1. Liam is a Chinese Canadian stay at home, shutdown defenseman from Markham, Ontario, who is praised for his on-ice intelligence. 

2. He was a standout defender for the Mississauga Reps and then had an excellent showing at the 2017 @ohlofficial Combine, where he ranked 3rd for defensemen in both on and off ice testing. 

3. He was eventually selected 63rd overall by the OHL’s @sudburywolvesohl, where he has played the past three seasons. He dons #63 in honor of his draft selection. 

4. In 2019, Liam participated in the @penguins prospect development camp. His performance earned positive reviews and put him on the Pens’ radar. 

5. Education has always been a priority for Liam. While playing, he has also been studying at @laurentianu, where he has excelled in school (he was the OHL’s Academic Player of the Month in February 2021) and is working towards earning a mechanical engineering degree. Best of luck to Liam in hockey and school, as he seems like an outstanding kid with a good head on his shoulders who will succeed in wherever his career takes him!
