1. Sato is a Japanese defender from Tokyo. 

2. She played at Nippon Sports Science University. 

3. In 2016, the GM of the Boston Blades viewed a video of Sato playing hockey and drafted her 36th overall in the CWHL Draft. 

4. Sato would go on to play two seasons for the Blades, scoring 2 points in 50 games. 

5. After meeting her husband, @dr.moriwaki, in Boston and finishing off her North American career with the Blades, Sato returned to Japan. She last played for the Showa University Bluewinds in 2020 and is now an expecting mother!
