Sayan Daniyar @sayan_7117 - 

1. Sayan is an ethnic Kazakh center from Astana. 

2. He burst onto the international scene in the 2015 D1A U-18 World Junior Championships, where he captained the Kazakhstan team. He scored 4 goals and an assist in 5 games. While his team captured a Bronze medal, Sayan was named the top forward of the tournament with his division leading 4 goals. 

3. The following year, Sayan captained his team to a Silver medal in the same tournament. 

4. Since 2017, Sayan has split time between the @khl (for @barys_official), the Kazakhstan professional league, and the MHL. Last season, he scored 41 points in 42 games for Nomad Nur-Sultan. 

5. In 2017-2018, he captured a Gold medal at the D1A U-20 World Junior Championships.

Sayan is competing in the World Championships right now with fellow countrymen @assetov.alikhan_96. Best of luck to the two as they proudly represent their country and hope to bring back another medal!
