1. Sho is a fleet and physical Japanese Canadian winger. He was born in Japan but immigrated to Canada at 4 months and grew up in Coquitlam.
2. At 8, Sho convinced his parents to let him play hockey when he was enrolled in a skating class but wanted to join the hockey pick up games that followed.
3. At 15, he began playing for the elite @burnaby_winter_club. His breakout season occurred in 2016-17, where he scored 32 points in 31 games for the @nechiefsaaa club.
4. In 2018, he was selected for Team Japan’s D1B U20 World Championship team, where he scored 2 points in 5 games.
5. From 2018-2020, Sho played for the @ndjrahounds of the @sjhlhockey, where he racked up 57 points and 201 PIMs in 97 games. He is currently committed to @sfu_athletics! Wishing him the best in his college career!
