1. Shunta is a stay at home Japanese defenseman. He is currently a student and ice hockey player for @toyoicehockey. 

2. Shunta has frequently represented his home country in international play since he was 16. 

3. In 2017, he won a Bronze medal in the @iihfhockey D1B World Junior Championships. He notched an assist in 5 games. 

4. In 2019, Shunta represented Japan in the U-20 World Junior Championships, where he won a Gold medal and scored his first goal in international play. 

5. This past year, Shunta was part of Japan’s Silver medal D1B World Championship team. He contributed an assist in the 4 games he dressed.
