1. Talgat is one of the few ethnic Kazakhs in pro hockey. 

2. He is also the most popular ethnic Kazakh to date and is an idol for kids in the region. 

3. He had a long hockey career, including 10 full seasons in the @khl. 

4. He suffered a crazy injury in 2014 when he was greeted by @barys_official fans at the airport when the team won their first ever playoff series. The fans celebrated by throwing Talgat in the air, but they accidentally dropped him, resulting in a concussion. 

5. He retired in 2021 and is running skills camps for kids.
