Wow, this is my 100th post in 28 days and 220+ followers later (most of who are complete strangers but fans of the topic). What started out as a way to show off the collection and raise awareness of former and current API players with a few facts has now become an obsession for me. Thanks for all of the kind messages, especially from some of the featured players and loyal followers! It’s that enthusiasm that dedicates me to this account in the constant search for additional players and stories to share!

The 100th post is yet another rare set from @paniniamerica for the 1979 World Championships. Whereas my previous post covered Team China, these cards are for players from Team Japan. Little is known about these players, but they are still cool to see (except for the Nintendo Ice Hockey buckets!). 🇯🇵
