The next is probably one of the funniest former NHLers (also a lot of the statements he makes are tongue in cheek, so it’s tough to decipher what’s actually true!) - Tim Stapleton @tim.stapleton19 - 

1. He’s a Filipino/Irish American from La Grange, Illinois. 

2. He played 13 seasons of professional hockey, including a full season with the @nhljets (also had a stint with the @mapleleafs and half a season with the Atlanta Thrashers). 

3. A sports agent discovered him when he was playing pick up hockey as a teenager. 

4. His idol was Steve Yzerman, but he also claimed he wanted to meet Bruce Lee. 

5. He now is a part owner of a South African beef jerky company, Boikies Biltong. An EXTRA fact: He is a frequent guest on @spittinchiclets and always has good stories, including when he refused his @khl coach’s pleas to take a turn in the shootout, and when he finally caved, he scored the GWG!
