1. Yushi is a big, two-way Japanese forward from Kushiro.
2. He made his international debut in 2014 as a 17-year old in the @iihfhockey D1B U-18 World Junior Championships, where, as the captain, he led his team in scoring with 5 points in 5 games in capturing a Bronze medal.
3. In 2016, Yushi went pro and joined the @redeagleshokkaido. He also represented his home country in the U-20 World Junior Championships, where he served as the team captain, led the tournament in penalty minutes (29), and notched 6 points in 4 games on his way to a Silver medal. Not to be outdone, he also participated in the D1B World Championships the same year, winning another Silver medal, accumulating 29 PIMs again, and scoring a goal in 5 games.
4. Over 137 career Asia League games with the Eagles, Yushi has tallied 45 points.
5. This year, Yushi won his second Silver medal in the D1B World Championship tournament.
