1. Ali is a stocky power forward from Kazakhstan. 

2. He has medaled on numerous occasions for his home country in both the World Junior Championships (2 Golds and 2 Bronzes) and the World Championships (Gold and Bronze). 

3. In 2016-2017, he won the Kazakhstan championship with Nomad Astana. 

4. In the 2016 World Junior Championships (Div. 1A), Ali led Team Kazakhstan to a Bronze medal scoring a team-leading 6 goals in 5 games. 

5. He has played 3 seasons in the @khl with @barys_official and Barys Nur-Sultan, scoring 20 points.
