1. Chad is an elite skating, puck moving Japanese American defenseman from Cypress, California, who patterns his game after @krugtorey. He started playing hockey at the age of 4. 

2. Chad was trained and mentored by Junior Ducks coach @alexmkim79 (previously featured in this account). Although he played in the Junior Ducks system, he grew up a @lakings. 

3. Chad’s junior career commenced in the @nahlhockey with the @crchill, where he recorded 2 points in 57 games in 2015-16. 

4. He moved onto the @bchockeyleague, where he played 3 seasons with the @wenatchee_wild. Chad was a key contributor from the blueline, notching 88 points in 161 career Wild games and winning a league championship in 2017-18. 5. Chad committed early on as a youth to @coloradocollegetigerhockey, where he has played the past two seasons (and where he is manning the blueline now). Chad has recorded 3 points for the Tigers in 34 @ncaaicehockey games. After college, he intends to pursue a career in science or engineering.
