Jamie Drysdale @jamie.drysdale - 

1. Jamie is an offensive, puck moving Japanese Canadian defenseman with elite skating from Toronto. Skating is in his genes, as his dad played hockey and his mom was a figure skater. 

2. He was a standout in the @gthlhockey for the @torontomarlboros, where he won 3 championships and was named the GTHL Player of the Year in 2017-18. His outstanding skills compelled the @erieotters to select Jamie 4th overall in the 2018 @ohlofficial draft. 

3. Jamie went on to star for the Otters. In 2018-19, he banked 40 points in 63 games and was named to the OHL All Rookie Team. The following season, he served as an assistant captain and notched 47 points in 49 games. 

4. Jamie represented Canada at the last two @iihfhockey World Junior Championship tournaments, winning Gold in 2020 and Silver in 2021.

5. He was selected 6th overall by the @anaheimducks in the 2020 @nhl Entry Draft. A highly regarded prospect, Jamie earned a goal and an assist in the second game of his pro career with the @sdgullsahl on February 6, 2021, becoming the youngest player in Gulls history to score his first career @theahl goal. Jamie also made his NHL debut in the 2020-21 season, where he recorded 8 points in 24 games as a Ducks rookie. He is expected to be a huge part of the Ducks’ blueline in years to come, and he already has 3 points in 8 games this 2021-22 season.

Now, this was a tough one for me and I’ve held off on posting, as I have not been able to verify Jamie’s heritage except from internet comments/musings. If I’m wrong, please let me know…and blame @matty_mann ! 😂😂😂
