Jason Marshall  - 


1. Jason was a rugged, stay at home Chinese Canadian defenseman from Cranbrook, BC. 


2. As a youth, Jason was a puck moving defenseman, as evidenced by his impressive offensive numbers in juniors. In the BCJHL, he notched 40 points in 48 games (and 197 PIMs) for the Vernon Lakers during the 1988-89 season. He followed that up with a year in the @westernhockeyleague for the @tcamericans, where he recorded 44 points in 59 games along with 236 PIMs. 


3. Jason was drafted 9th overall by the @stlouisblues in the 1989 @nhl Entry Draft. 


4. He made his NHL debut with the Blues in the 1991-92 season and had various call-ups thereafter, but he solidified his spot as an NHL regular with the @anaheimducks beginning in the 1995-96 season. Overall, he played 526 NHL games, earning 67 points and 1,004 PIMs. Aside from the Blues and Ducks, he played for the @capitals and @minnesotawild over the course of his lengthy NHL career. 


5. After two seasons in Germany, Jason retired in 2008. He then enrolled in college to study architecture, and he now works in the architectural industry.
