1. Johnny was a undersized but ultra fast and slick Filipino/Italian Canadian forward from Winnipeg. His father immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in the 70s.
2. After growing up playing in the Winnipeg minor system, Johnny played @whlhockey for the @tcamericans from 2007-10. Over 217 games, he notched 170 points.
3. He then enjoyed a standout 5-year college career with the @ualberta, where he served as an assistant captain and averaged nearly a point a game with 132 points in 136 games.
4. After a season in Italy, Johnny returned to North America to play in the @echlhockey for the @coloradoeagleshockey, where he won a Clark Cup and scored 50 points in 54 games. Johnny went on to play two seasons for the @mercswarren of the @s.e.m.h.l from 2018-2020, where he dominated with 56 points in 30 games while winning a championship.
5. Since retiring from hockey, Johnny resides in Manitoba where he has a beautiful family and now works as a paramedic.
