Next up is another cool guy and follower, Dehan “Julius” Zhang @juliuszhang - 

1. Julius is a puck moving defenseman who immigrated from China to Richmond as a youth. He played for the Richmond Seafair Minor system and the prestigious @delta.hockey.academy. 

2. After scoring 15 points in 36 games for the @buccaneersvijhl of the @vijhlofficial during the 2016-17 season, he was selected for the Chinese National program. In the 2016 World Junior Championships, Julius won a U-18 Div. 3A Gold medal with Team China while leading the tournament in assists by a defenseman (7 in 5 games). 

3. Since then, Julius has represented China in international play, earning a Silver medal in the 2017 U-20 Div. 3A World Junior Championships and another Gold in the 2018 U-20 Div. 3A tournament. Julius also captured honors for best defenseman, best plus/minus, and most assists in the 2018 tournament. 

4. He spent two seasons playing for the @krschina system (@krs_bsu_vhl and Heilongjiang) and last served as an assistant captain for Tsen Tou Jilin of the VHL in 2019-20. Given he has spent the past few seasons playing in and representing China, I’m hopeful he’s earned an opportunity to represent his home country at the 2022 Olympics.
