Today, I’m sharing another certified autographed card of the 🐐 from Vernon, BC, Larry Kwong. I am still holding out hope that one day in my lifetime he will receive the recognition he deserves and be posthumously inducted into the @thehockeyhalloffame. After all, he is the first hockey player to break the color barrier in the @nhl, and, as this account exemplifies, he paved the way for players of all colors. If anyone knows Chad Soon, the schoolteacher who petitioned to have Larry recognized in his home province, please let me know. I’d love to help promote any initiative for this long overdue induction!
