Manraj Singh Hayer @manraj_hayer - 

1. “Manny” was a playmaking Indo Canadian center from Vancouver. 

2. He played for the prestigious @burnaby_winter_club and, in 2008-09, scored 54 points in 40 games for the @gvcanadians AAA. 

3. Manny’s junior career began with one season in the @bchl_official with the @surreyeagles, followed by 4 seasons with the @everett_silvertips. He played his final @westernhockeyleague season in 2013-14 as the assistant captain, and he finished his WHL career with 103 points in 194 games. He frequently centered fellow Vancouverite @tysandhu19. 

4. Manny finished his hockey career playing 4 years with the @ubcmhky, scoring 51 points in 76 games. Once again, he was teammates with Tyler. 

5. Manny acknowledged the importance of his background in growing the game within the South Asian community. While with Everett, he was once quoted, “Lately, lots of East Indian kids have started to play hockey. Little kids have come up to me and said ‘I’ve seen you play and I want to follow in your footsteps.’ That’s kind of cool.”
