This is Part I of the Delemont brothers, Noah Delemont @noah_delemont -
1. Noah is a smooth, composed, puck moving Swiss defender of Indian descent from Biel, Switzerland. He was frequent teammates with his older brother, Quentin (@quentin_delemont), back at home.
2. Noah spent most of his minor and junior hockey in Switzerland, with the pinnacle being winning a championship with the @official_ehcb.ch U17 squad in the Elite Novizen league in 2017-18. That season, Noah notched 39 points in only 24 games as a teen while leading the league in assists and most points by a defenseman.
3. Noah has displayed tremendous leadership on and off the ice, and he has served as a captain for the U17 and assistant captain to the U18 Swiss @iihfhockey World Junior Championship teams. This year, he was playing for the Swiss U20 team before the tournament was cut short over Covid-19 concerns.
4. In 2019-20, Noah traveled to Canada to gain a North American experience and suit up for the @abtitan of the @lhjmq_qmjhl_. Over 64 games, he recorded 13 points.
5. Noah’s impressive offensive instincts compelled the @attackohl l to draft him 3rd overall in the 2020 @chlhockey Import Draft. Noah is currently playing pro as a teenager for his hometown team, EHC Biel-Bienne.
Noah’s smooth style make him an intriguing prospect for any @nhl team looking for a smart, puck moving defender.
Thanks to @matty_mann for spotting Noah at the WJC!
