1. Jong-Ah is a highly decorated, fast, and creative South Korean forward from Gangneung. She is the all-time leader in goals and points for the South Korean women’s national team.
2. She made her international debut as a teenager at the 2012 @iihfhockey D2B World Championships by leading the team with 8 points in 5 games for a Bronze medal. In 2013, she followed up with another 8 points in 5 games to win a Gold medal; she also led the tournament in goals with 7.
3. In 2014, Jong-Ah traveled to North America to play for the @ohahockey U-18 AA team. She also won her third Bronze medal in World Championship play while leading the tournament in goals with 7 over 5 games.
4. In 2018, Jong-Ah experienced the opportunity of a lifetime when she was named the captain of the unified Korean women’s national team at the @olympics in Pyeongchang. Jong-Ah carried the torch to the Olympic cauldron with North Koran player Jong Su Hyon in a touching showing of unity at the ceremony. Jong-Ah would finish the Games with an assist in 5 games.
5. Jong-ah has led a distinguished career with 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals in World Championship tournaments.
