Part 2 of the Soquila Bros, Regan Soquila @rsoquila –
1. Regan was a playmaking, Filipino Canadian forward from Maple Ridge, BC. Aside from hockey, Regan was an accomplished badminton and soccer player in high school. He is the younger brother of @jordansoquila, who was previously featured.
2. After starring for the @nechiefsaaa in 2010, Regan played juniors for the @bchlcentennials of the @bchockeyleague. He notched 45 points in 57 games during his rookie season. Regan was successful on and off the ice, as he received the team’s Rookie of the Year and Academic Scholar awards.
3. Not to be outdone, in the following season, Regan led the Cents in assists with 54 (70 points) over 59 games. In his final season of juniors, he led the team with 61 points in 56 games.
4. Regan then attended the @uahchargershky, where he played @ncaaicehockey for 4 years. Over 102 games, he contributed 15 points. He was recognized on the @wcha_mhockey All-Academic team on 3 occasions, received the WCHA Scholar-Athlete award as a senior, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
5. Regan currently works as a geotechnical engineer back home in Vancouver.
