Sasha Mutala @mutalasasha - 

1. Sasha is a gritty, two-way forward who was born in Vancouver to a Korean mother and Canadian father. 

2. Sasha’s mother instilled a healthy respect for his roots, as he hopes to represent Korea in the 2022 Winter Olympics: "I know that it would make my mom very proud. My mom always instills a sense of pride in me for being Korean, and being a part of Korean hockey would be a very exciting thing for everyone in my family." 

3. Sasha was selected 6th overall in the @westernhockeyleague draft in 2016 by the @tcamericans. 

4. He battled adversity, as his mother battled cancer in 2017 and his father suffered a severe stroke; still, Sasha balanced time with family and hockey to lead the @tcamericans in scoring in 2019-2020 with 67 points in 62 games before the season was shut down early by the pandemic. 

5. Sasha was drafted 140th overall by the @coloradoavalanche in the 2019 Entry Draft and played pro for the @coloradoeagleshockey while the WHL was on hiatus. Here’s hoping that @mutalasasha enjoys a successful career in the NHL and international stage!
