Here’s the very first player of Malagasy heritage to be featured! Yoan Loshing @loshing_19 - 

1. Yoan is a two-way scoring forward of Malagasy descent from Longueuil, Quebec. 

2. He was a standout player in Quebec Bantam AAA, scoring 45 points in 48 games for the @ccl_dynamique. 

3. Yoan continued to shine in the @gthlhockey with the U-16 AAA @gthl_senators, racking up 36 points in 28 games. 

4. He was the @monctonwildcats first pick (13th overall) in the 2020 @lhjmq_qmjhl_ Draft. 

5. In his rookie season that was cut short due to the pandemic, he scored 8 points in 19 games. Yoan is eligible for the 2022 @nhl Entry Draft, and his scoring prowess will certainly put him on scouts’ radars.
